- Scope
- This International Standard specifies the main characteristics to be displayed on filter supplier documentation and specifies requirements for product labeling. This standard specifies that the materials used are light alloys (aluminum, etc.), dumbbell die-cast alloys, brass, steel, and plastics, and are compressed by mechanical methods at a rated pressure of 1.6 MPa {16 bar} or less and a maximum operating temperature of 80°C or less. Applicable to filters that remove solid and liquid contaminants from the air.
