- This standard specifies the principles and methods for appraising the safety of buildings in the earthquake area at the earthquake site after a strong earthquake occurs. This standard is applicable to the safety appraisal of earthquake-affected buildings at the earthquake site during the expected earthquake action during the post-earthquake emergency. This standard does not apply to the seismic identification and dangerous building identification of buildings according to the requirements of seismic fortification intensity before and after the earthquake.
