Scope
This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant nickel alloy in the form of sheet, strip, and plate procured in inch/pound units. MAM 5536 is the metric version of this AMS. These products have been used typically for parts requiring oxidation resistance up to 2200 degrees F and relatively high strength up to 1500 degrees F, but usage is not limited to such applications.
