Scope

This standard provides details of domestic and industrial wastewater sampling, including the development of sampling plans and sample collection techniques. The target is all types of wastewater: industrial wastewater, raw and treated domestic wastewater. Although this method can be applied to water leaks in some cases, it does not include sampling of accidental water leaks.
