ISO 13332:2000 PDF

Scope: This standard gives procedures for measuring the vibration capabilities of medium and high speed engines and the frequency range within which the quoted data is valid. The methods described in this standard are not suitable for low speed engines. This standard is an engineering method, not a precision method. Whether the test is conducted on the test bench or on site, it must be agreed between the user and the manufacturer. This standard applies to medium and high-speed reciprocating internal combustion engines for land, rail traction and marine use, but does not include agricultural tractors, road vehicles and aviation engines. This standard may be applied to engines driving road construction machinery, earth-moving machinery, industrial trucks, and other applications for which appropriate international standards are available.
