Scope

This standard specifies general requirements and dimensions for the design and performance of 24° bite-in type pipe fittings. Applicable pipes shall be made of iron or non-ferrous metal with an outer diameter of 4 to 42 mm, and shall be used for hydraulic/pneumatic and general purposes within the pressure and temperature range specified in this standard. This fitting is intended for connecting pipe and hose fittings to various ports specified in ISO 1179-1, ISO 6149-1 and ISO 9974-1.
