Scope

This standard specifies the methods and requirements for determining the heat (cold) loss on the surface of the insulation layer by using the surface temperature method to measure the heat flux on site, including measuring instruments, selection of measuring points, operation and data processing, etc. This standard is applicable to the on-site evaluation of the thermal insulation performance of equipment and pipeline thermal insulation layers under normal working conditions.
