Scope

ANSI/IEEE 1058.1-1987 is overage and is administrativrly withdrawn effective 2/12/99. It is being introduced as a new standard for public comment. This standard prescribes the format and contents of software management plans. A software management plan is the controlling document for managing a software project; it provides the technical and managerial activities necessary to satisfy the requirements for the software project.
