Scope
1.1 Based on GB/T 18707.1, this standard specifies laboratory measurement and evaluation methods for the effectiveness of seat suspension systems with frequencies in the range of 1 Hz to 20 Hz for reducing vertical whole-body vibration transmitted to the driver of earthmoving machinery. This standard also specifies acceptance criteria for driver seats applicable to various types of machines. 1.2 This standard applies to driver seats for earthmoving machinery as defined in GB/T 8498. 1.3 This standard specifies the input spectra required for the following earthmoving machinery. Each category group specifies a group of machines with similar vibration characteristics: ——rigid frame dump trucks with a working mass > 4 500 kg; ——articulated frame dump trucks; ——shovels without axles or frame suspension devices Transport machines; ——tire loaders with a working mass > 4 500 kg; ——graders; ——tire bulldozers; ——tire soil compactors; ——backhoe loaders; ——track loaders ; ——Crawler bulldozer with working quality "≤50 000 kg"; ——Small dump truck with working quality "≤4 500 kg"; ——Small loader with working quality "≤4 500 kg"; ——Working quality "≤4 500 kg skid steer loader. 1.4 In the following machine operations, the impact on the seats is a sufficiently low vertical vibration in the range of 1 Hz to 20 Hz, so these seats do not need to be suspended to reduce the vibration. Transfer: ——Excavators, including walking excavators and mechanical excavators; ——Trenchers; ——Backfill compactors; ——Non-vibratory rollers; ——Milling machines; ——Pipelayers; ——- Dressing machines; ——Vibratory rollers. 1.5 The tests and criteria specified in this standard apply to conventionally designed earthmoving machinery driver seats. Note: Other tests apply to machines designed with significantly different vibration characteristics. 6 In addition to vibrations transmitted to the driver through the seat, other vibrations transmitted through the driver's feet on the platform or control pedals or his hands on the steering wheel are not within the scope of this standard.
