Scope: This part of GB/T 6109 specifies the requirements for double-painted layer 180 self-adhesive direct welding enameled copper round wire. The inner paint layer is based on polyesterimide resin, which can be modified if the chemical properties of the original resin can be retained and all requirements specified for the enameled wire are met. The topcoat layer is a self-adhesive layer based on thermoplastic resin. Note: Modified resin is a resin that has undergone chemical changes or contains one or more additives to improve its certain performance or usage characteristics. Class 180 represents the thermal class, which requires a minimum temperature index of 180 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 200°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended operating temperature for enameled wire, as this depends on many factors including the type of equipment used. The nominal diameter range of conductors specified in this part is: 　——Class 1B: 0.020mm and above 1.600 and below; 　——Class 2B: 0.020mm and above 1.600 and below. The nominal diameter of the conductor is as specified in Chapter 4 of GB/T 6109.1-2008.
