This standard introduces the entire J1S X 0133 family. We will give an overview of each part and explain the relationship between the quality model of the J1S X 0129 group and the JIS X 0133 group. This standard clarifies general concepts by defining technical terms used in the JIS X 0133 family and describing general requirements for software quality specification and evaluation. Furthermore, it provides a framework for evaluating the quality of software products and specifies requirements for methods of measuring and evaluating software products.
