This standard specifies the concepts and requirements for risk mitigation integrity levels imposed on software. This section defines concepts related to risk mitigation integrity levels, defines the appropriate processes for determining risk mitigation integrity levels and risk mitigation integrity requirements for software, and describes each Allocate each requirement to the process. This International Standard does not specify the integrity level of risk containment or the specific set of integrity requirements imposed on software. These must be determined either for each project or for specific application areas and/or countries.
