This standard requires a method in which a drawn fabric test piece is kept at a low temperature for a certain period of time in a gas refrigerant and then bent, and a drawn fabric test piece made into a loop in a liquid refrigerant is kept at a low temperature for a certain period of time and then a weight is dropped. This article specifies a method for measuring the ability to resist two low temperatures. Since rubberized or plastic coated fabrics are used in a variety of applications requiring cold bending, no general relationship can be drawn between this test method and service performance.
