Scope

1.1 Part 5 provides the following information: 1.2 The choice of method will depend on the particular circumstances under consideration for the particular application. 1.3 Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 of this family of standards do not apply to low-complexity E/E/PE safety-related systems (see Part 4, Section 3.4.4), but are essential safety standards.
