Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and signs of manganese copper and constantan precision resistance alloys. This standard applies to bare wires, sheets and strips of manganese copper and constantan resistance alloys used to manufacture various standard resistors, shunts, precision or ordinary resistance elements.
