Scope

This International Standard specifies integrated generic resources that combine presentation elements into different collections. It provides the basis for distinguishing which elements in a set of such elements are related and which are not. This International Standard also includes the structure specifying the relationships between these sets, including determining the transformation of an expression based on its participation in a relationship. The following are within the scope of this standard: - specification of different independent contexts for expression; - specification of expression elements; - association of expression elements in one or more contexts, in which contexts , to combine expression elements in order to express a concept; -- make one expression element define the connection of another expression element; -- make one expression participate in the structure of two related expressions defined by another expression; -- one expression does not the structure of two related expressions participating in the definition of another expression; -- the constraints preventing the recursive definition of instances of an expression element; -- the specification of the process of transforming one expression element into another expression element by specifying the application Implemented by an element of the process before the process and by that element of the process after the process is applied. -- Process specification for transforming one expression element into another expression element by specifying transformation functions. The following are outside the scope of this standard: -- the complete specification of the type of expression, the type of the element of the expression, and the type of the environment of the expression; -- the specification of the use of the expression; -- the expression with any possible use association; -- association of expressions with any possible use; -- constraints required for a directed relationship between two expressions; -- constraints prohibiting circular structures of related representations; -- constraints between environments in which related representations exist Constraints required for directed relationships; -- Constraints that prohibit cyclic structures expressing inter-environment relationships.
