ISO/TR 13387-6:1999 PDF

Scope: This part of ISO/TR 13387 is intended to provide general guidance on the use of engineering methods for the prediction of fire spread within and between buildings, and for the prediction of the response of a structure exposed to fire. The report is not intended as a detailed technical design guide, but could be used as the basis for development of such a guide. This part of ISO/TR 13387 provides a framework for critically reviewing the suitability of an engineering method for assessing the potential for fire spread and for fire damage to a building's structure. It also provides guidance for assessing the effectiveness of fire safety measures meant to reduce these potentials.
