GB/T 7584.2-1999
Scope
This standard specifies three methods (octave band method, HML method and SNR method) for estimating effective A-weighted sound pressure levels when hearing amplifiers are worn. These three methods are applicable to both the sound pressure level of noise and the equivalent connection sound pressure level of noise. The method specified in this standard is mainly applicable to steady-state noise exposure, but it can also be used for noise containing impulsive components. This provision does not apply to noise measured at peak sound pressure level. Octave band value, H value, M value, L value or SNR value are used to establish sound attenuation evaluation criteria, so as to facilitate the selection and comparison of loudspeakers, and to formulate minimum requirements for sound attenuation.
