Scope

This standard specifies the type classification, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of stainless steel welding wire and flux for submerged arc welding. This standard applies to stainless steel wire and flux for submerged arc welding. The deposited metal of such welding wire and flux should contain more than 11% chromium and less than 38% nickel.
