- Scope
- 1.1 This standard specifies the method for measuring the ductility of asphalt. The asphalt test piece is stretched to the length at which it breaks at a certain temperature and at a certain speed, and the test piece should be in accordance with the dimensions specified in Section V. Unless otherwise specified, the test temperature is 25°C±0.5°C, and the tensile speed is 5 cm/min±0.25 cm/min. 1.2 This standard is applicable to the determination of the ductility of petroleum asphalt, and also applicable to the determination of the ductility of coal tar asphalt. 1.3 This standard does not specify safety issues. If necessary, the user is responsible for formulating appropriate personal safety protection measures before use.
