Scope

This standard specifies the determination of oxygen and argon in the gas phase above the industrial liquid phase butadiene by gas chromatography. This standard applies to oxygen and argon with a content greater than 100mL/m³ in the gas phase above the liquid phase butadiene. This standard can be operated at two temperatures, -78°C or ambient temperature. Oxygen and argon are not separated at ambient temperature, only the total amount of these two gases can be determined. At -78°C, the two gases are separated.
