This standard is one of a series of standards dealing with the sampling and testing of coatings and related products. When evaluating the quality of paints and coatings, sample products are used as evaluation control products in order to make the evaluation as objective as possible for test items that are evaluated based on sensory judgment. This standard specifies the classification, expiry date, management, and renewal of sample products, as well as the stipulated conditions for product standards.
