This standard is part of a series of standards for sampling and testing methods for coatings and related products. This standard describes the procedure for the preliminary inspection of a single sample received for testing and the mixing and aliquoting of a series of samples representative of a consignment or large volume of paint and related products to prepare the test sample. Both procedures for adjustment shall be specified. Samples of the test product shall be collected in accordance with JIS K 5600-1-2.
