- Scope
- This standard stipulates the requirements for personal, property safety, surrounding environment, realization of predetermined functions of room air conditioners and qualification confirmation of installers involved in the installation of room air conditioners after leaving the factory. This standard applies to the installation of household and similar room air conditioners with air-cooled condensers, industrial-use chlorofluoromethane (R22) as the refrigerant, and a rated cooling capacity below 14,000W. Note 1 For room air conditioners using other refrigerants, refer to the applicable clauses of this standard and may require additional requirements. 2 The re-installation of room air conditioners after use (such as off-site installation, maintenance disassembly, etc.) can be carried out with reference to this specification.
