- This standard specifies the terminology of tongs and cutters (including English, French and Russian). This standard is applicable to the preparation of product standards for torsional pliers and cutters at all levels in our country. The graphics in this standard are only examples and do not limit the design of the product by the manufacturer. In appendix A of this standard (prompt appendix), the German, Italian and Spanish terms of torsion pliers and cutters are listed for reference.
