Scope

This standard specifies general rules for identifying conductors with specific colors or numbers to avoid confusion and ensure safety. These conductors may be conductors in cables or cores, busbars, electrical equipment and installations. This standard is based on the principles of IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51.
