Scope
This standard specifies Class 1 (mineral oil), Class 2 (alkylbenzene), Class 3 (polybutene), Class 4 (alkylnatalene), Class 5 (alkyldiphenylalkane), and Class 6 (silicone) specified in JIS C 2320. The sampling and testing methods for electrical insulating oils (hereinafter referred to as insulating oils) of 7 types (mineral oil, alkylbenzene mixed oil) are specified in the main body of this standard, and are specified in the appendix of JIS C 2320. Type 1 IEC (mineral oil), Type 2 IEC (alkylbenzene), Type 3 IEC (polyptene), Type 4 IEC (alkylnaphthalene), Type 5 IEC (alkyldiphenylethane and methylpolyallylmethane), and Type 6 IEC (Silicone oil) sampling methods and testing methods are specified in the annex to this standard.For products specified in the main body of JIS C 2320, the provisions in the main body of this standard are specified in the annex to JIS C 2320. The provisions of the annexes of this standard shall be applied consistently to the products specified in this standard, and corresponding provisions and contents between each main body or annexes may not be selected or mixed as appropriate.
