Scope

The document specifies the type of rails on free decks of passenger ships taking account of the rules of the International Freeboard Convention of 1966, and the safety regulations for marine enterprises (UVV See) of See-Berufsgenossenschaft. The rails in accordance with this document differ from those on cargo ships mainly by abandoning intermediate rails in favour of chords and vertical stays.#,,#
