- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of document copier products in electrostatic copiers. This standard is applicable to the design and manufacturing requirements and quality inspection of the whole machine product, without considering the technical requirements of its related network and connected equipment, as well as the responsibility for the installation and maintenance of the whole machine. This standard applies to dry developer, heat-fixing, plain paper electrostatic copiers--document copiers (hereinafter referred to as copiers), and other types of electrostatic copiers can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to microform reading copiers and color electrostatic copiers.
