This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes (hereinafter referred to as magnesium anodes). This standard applies to magnesium anodes for cathodic protection of metal structures in media such as soil, fresh water and sea water.
