Scope

This standard applies to all types of horizontal rotating electrical machines of one of the following three specialized types—foot-down motors, foot-up motors, and motors with one-piece base plates, as well as motors with mounting flanges and with center heights converted to base Motors with a foot down type of 355-1000mm and a fixed flange base circle diameter of 1180-2360mm.
