ISO 13935-2:1999 Textiles - Seam tensile properties of fabrics and made-up textile articles - Part 2: Determination of maximum force to seam rupture using the grab method
This part of GB/T 13773 specifies the method of applying a vertical force to the seam of the seam using the grab sample method to determine the maximum force that the seam can withstand. This section applies to woven fabrics and their products, as well as fabrics produced by other technologies. This section does not apply to elastic woven fabrics, geosynthetics, nonwoven fabrics, coated fabrics, fiberglass fabrics and fabrics produced from carbon fiber and polyolefin flat filaments. Seam fabrics can be obtained from seamed products or prepared from fabric samples according to product requirements or agreement of the parties involved. This method is only suitable for straight joints and is not suitable for larger curved joints. This method specifies the use of a constant velocity elongation (CRE) tester.
