1 This European Standard applies to manifold pressure regulators and line pressure regulators intended for the supply of pipeline systems for the following medical gases:
—oxygen;
—nitrous oxide;
—air for breathing;
—carbon dioxide;
—oxygen/nitrous oxide mixture (50/50 % (v/v));
—air for driving surgical tools;
—nitrogen for driving surgical tools.
2 This European Standard does not apply to pressure regulators for use with suction services (see ISO 10079-3).
