Scope

This standard specifies how to determine the total solids content of concentrated natural rubber latex and synthetic rubber latex. This method is not applicable to natural rubber latex, vulcanized latex, compound latex, and water-dispersed rubber collected from plants other than Hevea brasiliensis (scientific name: Hevea brasiliensis).
