Scope

This standard mainly specifies the matters to be considered during the design and related matters of stacker cranes (lifting load of 500 kg or more) used in multi-level automated warehouse systems that handle cargo in pallets. However, this excludes overhead crane type stacker cranes and multi-level automated warehouse systems using overhead crane type stacker cranes.
