The scope of application is as follows. a) This standard specifies the appearance, shape limits, dimensions, mass, and tolerances of flat steel manufactured by hot rolling. b) The scope of application of this standard and the selection of tolerance classes specified in this standard shall be specified in the respective product standards or as agreed between the parties concerned. Unless otherwise specified, class B in Table 1 shall be applied.
