- This standard specifies the geometric accuracy inspection items, tolerances and inspection methods of mechanical indexing heads for general purposes and machine tools (hereinafter referred to as indexing heads). This standard applies to the accuracy inspection of dividing heads. It is not suitable for the operation inspection of the dividing head, and the operation inspection of the dividing head is generally carried out before the accuracy inspection.
