Scope

This standard specifies the main technical requirements, measures and assessments for the safety protection of general-purpose broaching machines. This standard applies to horizontal internal broaching machines with a rated tensile force of 63-1000kN, vertical external broaching machines with a rated tensile force of 63-630kN and vertical internal broaching machines with a rated tensile force of 25-1000kN.
