Scope

This method is suitable for determining the effect of hexavalent chromium salts present in dyeing on the color of dyestuffs. This method is applicable to the dyeing of wool and specifies an alternative, milder test method suitable for assessing the effects of chromium salt concentrations that may be encountered when adjusting shades of dyeing.
