Scope

This standard is based on JIS B 6191, and describes the methods for testing the static accuracy, machining accuracy, and kinematic accuracy of general-purpose gear hobbing machines with vertical or horizontal axes. It also stipulates the allowable values corresponding to each inspection item. This standard also specifies the names of each part of the machine.
