Scope

This standard specifies the technical parameters and requirements, test methods and inspection rules for 500kV current transformers. This standard applies to single-phase current transformers with a rated voltage of 500kV and a rated frequency of 50Hz. It can also be used as a reference for bushing current transformers installed in other equipment of the same voltage level (such as transformers or switching electrical appliances).
