Scope
This standard specifies the methods for calibrating radiation protection neutron measuring instruments and determining the functional relationship between their response and incident neutron energy, angle and dose equivalent rate using the neutron reference radiation specified in GB 14055-93. According to the definition of ICUR 39 report and ICRU 43 report, neutrons of all energies are strong penetrating radiation, so the site monitoring instrument should be calibrated according to the surrounding dose equivalent Hp(10), while the personal dosimeter should be calibrated according to the penetrating personal radiation. Dose equivalent Hp (10) to calibrate. However, the method specified in this standard is general, and it can be used in various dose equivalent value systems. A schematic diagram of the physical properties to be tested is given in Appendix A (the standard's appendix).
