Scope

This standard specifies the classification, naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of rock wool, slag wool and their products for thermal insulation. This standard is applicable to cotton made of rock and slag as main raw materials, which are melted at high temperature and centrifuged, and thermal insulation products produced with thermosetting resin as binder.
