Scope

This part of this standard specifies the basics of dimensional tolerances and fit methods, as well as the calculated values of basic tolerances and underlying dimensional tolerances. These values are used when applying the tolerance method (see also Annex A, A.1). This part of this International Standard specifies terms and definitions as well as related symbols.
