- The document describes the digital long period archiving of images in medical radiology including projection radiography, computet tomography, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance tomography, ultrasonic computer tomography and dental X-ray diagnostic. The digital archiving of medical image data shall guarantee the orderly and unchangeable long period preservation of digital medical image information.
