- This standard specifies the type and nominal volume of steel spherical storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as "spherical tanks"), the inner diameter of the spherical shell, the diameter of the center circle of the foundation of the spherical tank, the distance from the bottom surface of the column bottom plate to the center of the spherical shell, the number of pillars, the spherical Basic parameters such as the number of shell divisions, the center angle of each belt, and the number of blocks in each belt.
