This standard applies to solar simulators for measuring crystalline solar cells specified in JIS C 8912 (hereinafter referred to as secondary reference solar cells) using secondary reference crystalline solar cells specified in JIS C 8911 (hereinafter referred to as secondary reference solar cells). This article specifies a method for measuring the output characteristics of terrestrial crystalline solar cells (hereinafter referred to as solar cells) intended for planar, non-concentrating power generation.
