Scope

This standard specifies the air permeability of paper and paperboard with an ISO air permeance of 0.1 to 100 μm/(Pa?s) or an air resistance (Gurley) of 1.4 to 1300 s. Specifies the method of testing. However, this excludes materials such as crepe paper and corrugated paper that allow air to leak from the surface or edges even when tightly tightened.
