- This standard specifies the classification, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of hot-dip galvanized steel wires for bridge cables. This standard is applicable to hot-dip galvanized round steel wires (hereinafter referred to as steel wires) used for cables of bridges, anchoring tension members, tension members for lifting and fixing, and other components in civil engineering.
