- This standard is applicable to tubular fluorescent lamps and other gas discharge lamps (self-ballasted lamps) for general lighting in households and similar places, which integrate control start-up and stable ignition components. This standard specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements for this kind of lamp, as well as the test method and the conditions for checking its eligibility. The scope of application is as follows: --Rated power below 60W; --Rated voltage 100V～250V; --Edison screw lamp or bayonet lamp. The requirements of this standard relate only to type testing. Production-in-production inspections and inspection methods for batches of products are under consideration.
